My Top 11 of 2011

Happy New Year's EVE!!!
I can't believe a whole year has come and gone already! 2011 was a crazy year, and I'm so excited for the start of a new one! I got the idea of posting my top 11 from my friend's blog and I thought it was a great idea so here it goes!!
My Top 11 of 2011
11. On January 05, 2011 I decided I wanted to be a Kindergarten Teacher. I got to be a peer tutor in Ms. Scott's Kindergarten class during my Senior year and I fell in love with all those sweet 5 and 6 year olds.10. I became an adult on February 21, 2011. Yes I turned Sweet Eighteen! However, nothing of great consequence became of it ;) (Yes adults go mini golfing on their birthday...)09. On April 29, 2011 I went on a trip with the youth in our stake to Salt Lake City, Utah. First stop: Temple Square. That was the first time I had ever seen the Salt Lake Temple. That was the day I decided I'm going to marry in the Salt Lake Temple, for time and all eternity.08. Speaking of first timers: On May 10-14, 2011 I got to go to Disneyland! Yes, Disneyland, for the first time. And I think I would've been content just traveling around California, it was a beautiful trip.07. I finally graduated High School on May 25, 2011. It was a long time coming, and I was so grateful to be done.06. I was accepted to Brigham Young University-Idaho on the Fall/Winter track. I was SO excited to start college and start a new chapter of my life.
05. I became more goal-oriented and I had a better view of what I needed to do with my life.04. From September-December 2011 I experienced all-nighters and a horrific homework load, but I trudged through it and I'm so proud that I worked through it!
03. On December 15, 2011 I officially finished my first semester of college with three B+'s and two B's and one B- I am so pleased!!02. I fulfilled my dream of seeing an Irishman in the flesh. My friend and I went to a Celtic Thunder concert, which meant 6 beautiful Irish lads stood before us for about two heaven-sent hours.01. Okay so this is technically in November 2010, but it was part of my Senior year which was technically this year, so I'm just going to use it. In November, I auditioned and got the part of Anita in the High School Production of West Side Story. It was one of my biggest accomplishments. I love to sing and I love to dance, but I've never done it in front of an audience before. It was such an amazing experience and I was so proud of myself for doing it.I'm so proud of 2011. I did a lot of things I never thought I would be able to do. 2011 gave me a confidence boost and I'm ready to knock 2012 in the face! I'm so ready to see what this new year will bring.

Happy New Year!

Back to the Grind.....

So my life in a nutshell:

School?= Stressful.
Stressful?= Weight gain.
Weight gain?= Depression.
Depression?= Bad.
Bad?= Carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates?= Good.
Good?= Exercising.
Exercising?= Enjoyable.
Enjoyable?= Eating.
Eating?= Yummy.
Yummy?= Holidays.
Holidays?= Weight gain.
Weight gain?=...etc

So I really need to kick it into gear people. I need to figure out how the heck I'm going to motivate myself to eat right.
I've got the exercising down. I love to exercise.
But the freaking food? I love it way too much. :(
You health gurus out there? How do I not eat?
Ugh, I know the answer, I guess I just don't want to do it.
Curse you food.
I will get the best of you. And when I do. I will do it with flying colors.

Good luck to me!

And so it begins....

It's finally here.
The week all college students talk about.

Finals week.... Oh..fetch.
This week is going to have me doing a whole lot of...

THIS:

And....
THIS:

And
THIS:

And
Probably not a whole lot of
THIS:

Well....
I can't wait!!!
So the sad thing about finals is that I'm done with this semester! For good!

A couple of my classes ended last Friday and I had to say goodbye to some great people I met in each class. It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be.
At BYU-Idaho everyone is like family. However, the school is so HUGE, the chances I'll see my brothers and sisters from this semester are quite slim :(
So that was kinda too-much-for-me-to-handle-sad.

But don't let me fool you! I'm so happy to be moving on to a new semester in January. Hooray for meeting new people and starting fresh!
Life is hitting me, and it's hitting me FAST! I just pray I can catch up!
Oh...and here's to finals week!

We be Cheezin'

Today I had a little extra leisure time thanks to my lovely cousin Liz!
I'm writing about her for my Writing and Reasoning class. We had to write about someone that was an "other" to us...meaning opposite or different...or more awesome. Yes, Liz and I are opposite girls, but we have SO much fun together. Opposites attract, right? One of my favorite memories with her happened when we were both ten. We got to stay at our Grandma Henrikson's house for one week. She taught us everything from sewing to cooking. It was a real blast :D

Okay so funny story: Liz and I shared dresser drawers while we stayed there, and she had a "real" bra. Haha, I don't know if she remembers this, but she made fun of my "training" bra and told me that I wasn't mature yet because I didn't have a padded bra. I was so discouraged. I thought I was so cool because I could wear a bra, and then she was like, "Ew, no who do you think you are? Ya, so Liz has always been the cool older cousin that got to experience everything before I did. Maybe that's why she's so cool, she's like the big sister I never had!
So anyways I wrote about Liz...and she was awesome and answered questions for me. Which made writing a paper about her, that much easier :) She's such an awesome girl, and I love her to death!
Isn't she gorgeous!!! Ya, we're family :) She just got all the good looks!

Go. Just...go. Go do something.

100 Days of Dance!

Okay....So while I was faithfully doing my homework...*cough, cough*
I read an article about Kirstie Alley.
You know Kirstie Alley, the one that was a spokeswoman for Jenny Craig.....
You know, "Have you called Jenny yet?"

....So anyways, she was talking about her New Year's Resolutions and one of them is
100 Days of Dance.
Ya. 100 Days of Dance! That's what she's calling it. I'm DEFINITELY a fan.
I love to dance. I love Kirstie Alley. And 100 days...psh that's nothing!
So I'm going to do it with her.
100 CONSECUTIVE days of dance.
I'm going to post what I do each day. I think it sounded like a fun way to get in shape :)
And goodness knows this chick needs to get in shape.
So here's to my New Year's Resolution that's going to start on December 1st...since I really want to start. January 1st is too far away!
You guys should join me, and tell me about your progress!
Here's to dance!!

I like messin' with the law.

So this weekend was just overflowing with excitement! Like for real...
Friday night I got pulled over for the first time.
I got pulled over for something OUTRAGEOUS.

Drunk. Frickin. Driving.

Was I drunk? Not in the littlest bit.
Do I drink? Not in the littlest bit. EVER.
Do I act like I'm drunk? Yes.
Do I wish I was drunk. Yes....*cough* no......
....Do any of these things matter? No, not in the littlest bit.

So my Hannah Katherine and I went on a little trip to Rexburg to get us some McDonald's.
Yes. Some McDonald's. At 10 in the PM
We got some shakes. And a three piece Chicken Selects to share.
We chilled at McDonald's until....midnight-ish.
We went for a drive. On our drive we saw about 3 cops.
I casually ask, "Hannah, have you ever been pulled over before?"
Hannah: "Yes."
Me: "Oh ya I remember that, 'Nathan switch me seats.' Haha, good times."
Me:"I'm pretty sure I'd pee my pants, or cry if I ever get pulled over."
We started back on the highway for home.
Not even 5 seconds later....I see flashing blue and red lights....coming for me.
"Me: Ew. What???"
So the cop pulls me over. He sits in his little cop car for like 5 minutes, finally comes over to us. And then asks: "Where are we coming from tonight?"
Me: "McDonald's"
Cop: "What happened at McDonald's?"
Hannah: "Shakes."
Cop: "Anything else I should know about?"
Me (inside my head): "HE THINKS WE'RE DRUNK?!"
Cop: "You ran over the fog lines a FEW times."
Me: "What's a fog line?"
Cop: "The WHITE lines."
Me: "Oh, I didn't notice. I'm cold, maybe I was adjusting the heat and a swerved and didn't notice."
Cop: "I'm going to need to see your license and registration. And just because I think you're intoxicated, I'm going to need to see you're insurance. I've had too many drunk driving accidents where the insurance didn't cover anything."
Me: "I've never been pulled over before, I don't even know what any of that looks like."

Hannah just knows everything and pulls all the documents out. I'm so glad she was there with me :)
We find the insurance, but it's expired. Oops.
Hannah: "A few times is like 3!! We just got pulled over for drunk driving!!!"

So long story short, he gave me a warning for being intoxicated (which I most definitely wasn't). Then he wrote me a $126.50 ticket for my expired insurance.
I have a court date to waiver the ticket if I can find proof of my valid insurance.
So yes. Hannah and I are just really excited we had that experience together.

Of course, I would be pulled over for drunk driving.

This is the Potential Break-up Song

Okay so the title was a little much...I just really like that song...and....yes.
So...Brayden?.....we broke up.
It was a mutual decision. One that we talked about for 2 hours.
We dated for 1 month. It was real, he was real. It was awesome while it lasted.
I won't go into details, this is my blog, it's my life story, but he was a part of it. I know he's reading this so I'll just keep this simple:
There are no hard feelings. We came to the agreement to be friends, and everything is going to be okay.
It's time to move on.
I feel like something is coming. Something big. I don't know what it is, but I know whatever it is...I'll be able to handle it.

I'm so thankful to Brayden for teaching me so much while we were together. He's brilliant. I'm so excited for him to go on a mission and teach those people set aside for him to teach. And I'm so thankful to still be his friend.
He's genuine and kind.
You can never have too many of those special people in your life. I'm so glad we found each other when we did. He definitely saved me more than once. But now, it's time for me to focus on school. Focus on me. Focus on the life I want to have.
This transition will be good for me. I've always had someone there for me...but it's time for me to go off on my own. I need to be me.
I kinda feel like this right now....it's an awesome feeling:

Rumor has it she ain't got your love anymore...

I know I already blogged today, but I had a special request from a special friend :)
Hannah Banana Katherine Bizzle Chelson.
I pretty much love this girl, she and I are like peas and carrots. She's living in Salt Lake City, Utah right now, but don't worry, she's coming home for Thanksgiving; Another thing I'm very grateful for. I miss that chica!!! So I'm blogging about my Hannah because she's worth blogging about and...
She showed me an awesome song entitled:
"Rumor has it/Someone like you"-- sang by Glee!!.....Which may or may not be one of my favorite shows.
Why do I like Glee? Well mostly/mainly because of him:

So yes, I love Hannah Katherine, for showing me that song before I got to watch it on the show. Because it's basically the most awesome-est girl power song EVER. And I love singing it at the top of my lungs. And I basically love Hannah with my whole lung...??? So therefore it's an awesome thing.

Weekends are good.

Hey bloggers!
Guess what, I just spent WAY too much time redesigning my blog. I got on here to write a blog, but instead I made my blog all cute...look at it, it's pretty darn adorable. :)

So I had a pretty great weekend. I'm sad it's almost over, but it will be Thanksgiving soon! Which means school will be out soon!! Which means I won't have homework for a second.
Well I do have a paper to write over the break, but we aren't thinking about that right now!

So on Friday night, I went and saw my Connor play Mr. Fezziwig in the school play "Scrooge." Um, my littlest brother is SO cute.
Look at him:
He had a cute little singing part, and I love him :)

On Saturday, I got to sit around a be all lazy and stuff! It was fabulous! My Aunt Katie and I went to watch Breaking Dawn, *GASP* the last book in the Twilight series! Oh my yes. Favorite book, favorite movie so far, and favorite Jacob...I mean Edward...uh Jacob...I still don't know which team I'm on. It's rather discouraging.
But yes, go read the book now!

On Saturday night Brayden, Karly, and I went to Idaho Falls for The Standards Concert!! I'm pretty sure I've never told you about them. They are a beautiful people. :)

Nutshell:
  • The Standards came to my Elementary School...when I was in 4th grade.(That seems like FOREVER ago).
  • I skipped recess with a couple friends and went to meet them. They signed a sheet of our notebook paper.
  • I fell in love.
  • I followed them ever since. I've gone to every concert they've done in Eastern Idaho (Which has only been like...10 times ;)
  • I fall more in love with them everytime I hear them sing
  • I'm crazy.
The Standards in the flesh, taken at a concert last September:

Oh hey, The Standards in 2008:

Jordan Williams (the oldest brother, and probably one of my favorites) and myself!...oh and Nicholas Williams in the background ;)
Okay that's probably enough pictures :) So basically The Standards are beautiful and talented and I had a fun time at the concert.

Today, Sunday, I got to go to my home ward. It was just a good day. I had an awesome lesson in Young Women's (yes, I'm supposed to go to Relief Society, but I miss my girls!) So yes, church is good, family is good, and my boyfriend is AWESOME for being brave and taking me to a concert. He got to listen to me sing, and he got to see me dance in my seat. The kid might be scarred for life, haha!
I love weekends like these, and I can't wait for this Thanksgiving holiday. I'm so thankful for family, friends and food.
How was your weekend?

What's up? What's happenin'?...What's goin' on??

Well hey all!!

So I haven't blogged in a while, so since I need a break from studying....I thought I would tell my blog followers what's new in my life...:)

So once upon a time my friend Lynzi Rubert introduced me to Brayden Scholes.
He works at a donut shop (Paradise Donuts), in Rexburg, Idaho. So we decided to go get a donut after class one day and Lynzi introduced us.
I didn't really think anything of it.

She asked me the next day what I'd say to going on a date with him. I said, "Well he's nice. And he has a great personality...and he has a great smile...and he's kinda cute."
Then Lynzi said, "Great, because I want to set you two up sometime."
"Well great, sounds fun", I said.
Then, a few days later, as Lynzi and I sat in my car, I get a phone call from an unknown number.
(I wasn't supposed to know, but Lynzi gave me a heads up that he would be calling ;) so I answer calm, cooley, and quite collectively.
He asked me on a date that Friday night. I was kinda really excited :)
So on October 21, 2011, Brayden picked me up at my house in St. Anthony. He took me to Dr. Slaughters with a couple of his friends and their dates. Yes, he took me to Dr. Slaughters...it's said to be one of the scarier attractions in Idaho. But that was okay, because he let me hold onto him almost the entire time.
After Dr. Slaughters we went back to Paradise Donuts (his donut shop) and frosted our own donuts, then walked to Sammy's in Rexburg and ate Donut Shakes....YUM! Greatest idea, ever! We sat and talked for a while with the group, and then decided to call it a night.
As he was driving me home I was like, "Okay, this guy is pretty neat. He's a perfect gentleman, he saved me from the scary guys at Dr. Slaughters, and he makes yummy donuts...there might be somethin' here." He dropped me off and told me he wanted to see me again. Of course, I wanted to see him too.

Wow, this is turning into a long story :P So, Brayden came to institute with Lynzi and her boyfriend McKay, that next Tuesday. I was happy to see him again.
I saw him again that Thursday, with Lynzi. We went to go get a donut and hot chocolate at Paradise Donuts because it snowed that day. Brayden asked me to dinner and a movie for that Saturday. He said he'd call me. And he did, that night, while I was working. But don't worry, I'm a good multi-tasker and I answered the phone while I was making a pizza.

So Saturday, October 29, 2011 came around and I was SO excited. He came to get me at 6:30. We went to dinner first, at Joe's Filling Station. It was DELICIOUS! We played a game of twenty questions...which, by the end of the night, really ended up being like, 5,127 questions...but who's counting?? After the yummy dinner, he took me to the nature park in Rexburg, with all the ducks and such, and guess what we did?? We took a little walk and looked at the stars. Aww! Although, the cold weather did get in the way, so...we went to the movies!! Aww! We saw "In Time"....don't watch it...it was pretty bad :D Haha, but I still had a good time. I don't remember a lot of the movie, but I do remember Brayden's hand on mine...

After the movie we decided to go to the park. We talked...and yes We
kissed. And yes, he said, "Looks like I have a girlfriend."
....................................And I said, "Ya, it looks like you do."
Brayden is one special guy, and I'm so thankful to have him in my life. It's been fun. It's all new. And it's kind of exciting and scary all at the same time. But, I like it.

So today wasn't the greatest day in the whole wide world, but do ya know what? I got to see Brayden for the first time all week (he's been sick), and Brayden decided to surprise me and decorate my car while I was at work.

He is SO thoughtful, and sweet, and original...it's refreshing...one of the reasons I kinda like the kid.

Oh you want pictures....duh!
The car....

The Rose....a pink one, which might I add....is my favorite flower :) So that's what 's new in my life...what's new in yours?

What? I have a blog??

Hey fellow blog-gonians??
It has been quite sometime since I've blogged. Why you ask??
BECAUSE I'M A COLLEGE STUDENT!!!
...that's why.
It's really exciting/scary/happy/sad/stressful/wonderful
...all at the same fetching time.

It's pretty cool.
In case anyone out there was wondering....I'm happy.
I whine all the time about things I have to do, but all those things mean nothing in the great scheme of things.
Right now, in my life, I'm just happy.
I'm happy to be where I am.
I'm attending the greatest university, BYU-Idaho!
Life is good. I have a good job. I have a roof over my head.
I have great friends and family.
The only thing that's making me sad is the fact that I just ate a stale cracker. Ew.

Life is good. School is good. Kiah is good.

The Lazy Song.

Today I didn't have to work.
That means I did absolutely NOTHING.
One of my most favorite things to do.

Okay well I did freak out about college. And then I freaked out about my messy room. And then I watched a movie....does that count as something?

I only freaked out about college because tomorrow is September. I start school on September 12th....that's really soon, loves! Oh and I have to live at home, but I'll get over that eventually.

I only freaked out about my room because there was a spider. I'm not a huge fan of them....meaning I freeze as soon as I see one and I have to watch it until my YOUNGER brother Connor can come kill it for me....sometimes that can take up to 30 minutes. Spiders can crawl a long ways in 30 minutes....it's rough. Oh and then I had to kill it. Ew.

So after that I watched a weirder than life movie. It's called Across the Universe. Super bizarre movie. Yet I still highly recommend it. Do you know why? It's a musical, with Beatles songs. I love The Beatles....and I love musicals. Great music, weird movie. Like REALLY weird. I can't emphasize this enough.
At the beginning of the movie it has Jim Sturgess (Brittish, I'm a fan) singing "Girl" straight at the camera. I felt like he was looking into my soul. It made me laugh because I had to look away from the screen after the 30 second stare we shared. Ya, he kept looking. Here's a picture:
So, go watch the movie, but don't expect to understand the plot. Just watch it for the music. Well, it would probably make more sense to just listen to the soundtrack. Good idea, now go look it up on iTunes :D

Here's to another random post! Oh and Pell Grants, which I just found out I have! Hooray for money to get through college!

Kidds say the darndest things....

So..............................
I'm watching skanky Bachelor Pad. A show I can't go a week without seeing.
Why?
Because...

So I'm watching it right now.
Connor, my brother (hey that's him in the picture with me!), comes in and says, "I hate this show, they kiss everybody."
I say, "Well you might as well, they don't have any morals anyway."

Then they contestants start talking about who they are going to vote off.
Then Connor says, "So it's like Survivor, but with benefits."

Truer words were never spoken. My brother, he is wise beyond his years.
So that's pretty much how Bachelor Pad went down this week.

Also I feel I should tell you that I'M GOING TO JOSH TURNER WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!! Yes. Yes I am.....The lady in the picture is Hannah Katherine. I've told you about her before. I promise you.
But do you want to know who I'm madly in love with?? I sometimes call him, Nate-y-poo.

We are so cute.
Josh Turner is great.

Shoes are a girl's best friend.

Happy Saturday!

Today I went shopping with my mom and siblings. School shopping, that is! My favorite form of shopping, and the most exhausting shopping ever invented. I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything....but I couldn't resist when I saw these bad girls!
Ya...I know. They are super adorable.

AND they were buy one get one half off. That doesn't matter though, because I only got one pair.

So these are my shoes. And I'm really excited about them.
I'm even going to wear them at church tomorrow!.....Even though I'm teaching the Sunbeams in primary. It's okay. I'll make it work :)

Have a fantastic rest of the weekend. AND go to Shoe Carnival...they're having a BOGO sale that features really sexy heels!

Sometimes I have epiphanies.

Good afternoon, bloggers! Wow, it's been awhile! Hello August!

So I thought I would tell you about my Sunday. Today I had an epiphany. What's an epiphany you say? Well according to Dictionary.com it is as such, "An epiphany (from the ancient Greek ἐπιφάνεια, epiphaneia, "manifestation, striking appearance") is the sudden realization or comprehension of the larger essence or meaning of something. The term is used in either a philosophical or literal sense to signify that the claimant has "found the last piece of the puzzle and now sees the whole picture," or has new information or experience, often insignificant by itself, that illuminates a deeper or numinous foundational frame or reference."
...Couldn't say that better myself.

What did I go and have an epiphany for, you ask? Well, if you don't know me, let me give you the reader's digest of my brain. It's slower than some. It's hard for my brain to wrap itself around the obvious answers in life. I tend to figure out a harder way for everything. So today, even though I was so exhausted, I decided to get up at 7:30 AM and get ready for church a little earlier than usual. I was ready a little before 9 (church starts at 9:30). What was I going to do with all that spare time?

Be prepared....this is where my epiphany kicked in...

I unconsciously walked over to our adorably old piano and started to play.
....I know what you're thinking...."Wow, Kiah that's a lame epiphany." Well guess what, I'm not done telling you the story.

So I've been playing the piano since I was 6. Yes the young age of 6.
I wanted so badly to learn how to play. I continued lessons until I was 12 years old. I learned all the basics of music and piano playing in those 6 years, and then just taught myself the rest after that. I absolutely adored playing the piano.

For some reason or another, I stopped playing just for pure enjoyment. I became the accompanist for many church functions, and any rehearsal help for choir or plays. The last two years of High School I auditioned and made it into zero hour Jazz Band. I didn't enjoy it. Sure some of the songs were fun, but I wasn't playing what I wanted to play. I started to care less and less for the piano. I think I became used to playing what others wanted me to play. I stopped practicing the piano all together. The piano at my house became a "dust collector".

The past couple months I've been down, emotionally, physically, psychologically, anything else you could imagine. I haven't been my happy self. I've been rolling with the punches day to day. I had no idea what to do. I figured I just had to wait for college to start, then I'd be fine with a fresh start. I've been thinking lately, that I needed something for me. Just for me. Just to get me by.

I had no idea my answer was going to be as simple as playing the piano.

So back to this morning. I sat at the piano until almost 9:30. That was the most amazing half hour of my whole life. Seriously. I couldn't stop smiling as I was playing. I just let my fingers go. All of this passion was pouring out of my fingertips. It was like I had never stopped playing.

I couldn't believe how happy it made me. Who knew that could be the answer to my prayer. I'm so thankful for the simple joys in life that come to us when we least expect them.

Go and do something you love. Just for you

The time I blogged about Goulash...

Hey everyone!! How's life?
Well...mine has been boring, hence the no blogging thing. I get up, exercise, go to work, come home, go to sleep. Ya, I didn't think you guys wanted to hear about that :)

Do you want to know what I did this afternoon?
I took a MUCH NEEDED two hour nap.

Then I had some goulash...aka, pasta yummy-ness. No, I did not have three homemade chocolate chip/walnut cookies afterwards, thanks for asking!!!

Then I watched six, yes, six episodes of Say Yes to the Dress.

Now I'm thinking a chick flick is in order.
The Notebook? Why yes, don't mind if I do!

Speaking of Rachel McAdams, (Leading lady in The Notebook....check her out!)
I want to look just like her when I grow up. Is that
possible? I think she's stunning!

....Okay, so we have the same hair color.
Pretty sure that's about as close as we're getting. It's okay, I'll look like her in the next life. Or maybe we'll have mansions next to each other in heaven! Until then, I can dream, right?

Go watch The Notebook. Be jealous of Rachel's looks. Try not to dream of Ryan Gosling.

The one with Miss USA

Do you want to know what I did Sunday night? Of course you do. I went to the Chelson's to watch Miss USA. I know, it's pretty exciting. I even have the pictures to prove it!
Have I ever told you how much I love Hannah Katherine?? Well I do!!!!!!!!!! She and I are like peas in a pod. I just heart these pictures of us...they basically illustrate our relationship quite nicely. And they're even more amazing because we took them while watching Miss USA. So, here's a picture of Miss California, right after her crowning. Oh golly gee, let's take a moment and soak in the emotional aspect of her fantastical journey through this pageant. Life doesn't get any better than this, folks. I've got the picture to prove it:

That's happiness and accomplishment right there, friends.

So anywho, after we watched gorgeous women with great bodies and beautiful long hair compete, we watched....Celtic Thunder.
Celtic Thunder is a beautiful thing. Five men. Irish/Scottish accents. Singing. Period. Ya. That's right. Go look them up. You'll be smitten at first glance. Oh here I'll give ya a glance:

If you all must know, the one with the long blonde locks is my most favorite. His name, if you must know, is Keith Harkin. He has the strongest Irish accent, which I think is the sexiest thing in the whole wide world. He also sings a song, which he wrote, called "Lauren and I". Go look it up on Youtube. It's ridiculous how amazingly fantastic that song is. I imagine he wrote it for me. I had a friend in elementary school named Lauren, and a good friend of mine has the middle name Lauren. Seriously, he was just confused. He forgot my name and used someone else's. It's okay, I've forgiven him. Ah, look at his face for a second. Are you in love?...................Too bad. He's taken.

So that was my Sunday night in a nutshell.
Go fall in love with an Irishman.

Endorphins. It's what's for dinner.

Good Afternoon, bloggers :)

Today has been a good day. Do you know why? I went to the Chelson's to get my workout on! Hannah and I did Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown AND my new Zumba DVD. Can I just say I hate Jillian?
Hannah and I have done her 30 day shred video all summer....
and sometimes....

i just want to kick Jillian in the face. Her videos are so hard! She brought yoga to a whole new level, for real.

I LOVE Zumba. Can I just say I love Beto? (The beautiful creator of Zumba). If you haven't tried Zumba, you're a fool. It is so exhilarating and fun, fun, fun!!
So ya, that's pretty much why this day is AWESOME! I'm loaded with Endorphins(happy chemicals in the body) and you know what else? IT'S PAYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which I also think is AWESOME!

So I think I should tell you what I did last night....but I'll save that for later ;)

Go exercise, it sure makes your day better :)

I'm going there someday...

Happy Sunday!
I love Sundays, you know why? It is a day of rest. I get to go to church, be uplifted, and then go home and take a nap.
I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I'm proud of it. Yes, I'm a Mormon. I wouldn't be anywhere without the church. One thing about our church that I'm especially grateful for is
TEMPLES! I love temples. My favorite is the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple. Do you know why? ................It just is.
I love the spirit that is constantly there. I love how spacious it is. When I look at the Salt Lake Temple I picture heaven right there.

Isn't it gorgeous/stunning/magnificent/radiant?

In my last post, when I said I wanted to fall madly in love? Well when I fall madly in love, I'm going to marry in the Salt Lake Temple.
So I can be madly in love in this life, and forever into the next. Because of temples, my family is sealed forever. It's kind of exciting, don't ya think?

Go visit a temple. Be happy :)
