We be Cheezin'

Today I had a little extra leisure time thanks to my lovely cousin Liz!
I'm writing about her for my Writing and Reasoning class. We had to write about someone that was an "other" to us...meaning opposite or different...or more awesome. Yes, Liz and I are opposite girls, but we have SO much fun together. Opposites attract, right? One of my favorite memories with her happened when we were both ten. We got to stay at our Grandma Henrikson's house for one week. She taught us everything from sewing to cooking. It was a real blast :D

Okay so funny story: Liz and I shared dresser drawers while we stayed there, and she had a "real" bra. Haha, I don't know if she remembers this, but she made fun of my "training" bra and told me that I wasn't mature yet because I didn't have a padded bra. I was so discouraged. I thought I was so cool because I could wear a bra, and then she was like, "Ew, no who do you think you are? Ya, so Liz has always been the cool older cousin that got to experience everything before I did. Maybe that's why she's so cool, she's like the big sister I never had!
So anyways I wrote about Liz...and she was awesome and answered questions for me. Which made writing a paper about her, that much easier :) She's such an awesome girl, and I love her to death!
Isn't she gorgeous!!! Ya, we're family :) She just got all the good looks!

Go. Just...go. Go do something.

100 Days of Dance!

Okay....So while I was faithfully doing my homework...*cough, cough*
I read an article about Kirstie Alley.
You know Kirstie Alley, the one that was a spokeswoman for Jenny Craig.....
You know, "Have you called Jenny yet?"

....So anyways, she was talking about her New Year's Resolutions and one of them is
100 Days of Dance.
Ya. 100 Days of Dance! That's what she's calling it. I'm DEFINITELY a fan.
I love to dance. I love Kirstie Alley. And 100 days...psh that's nothing!
So I'm going to do it with her.
100 CONSECUTIVE days of dance.
I'm going to post what I do each day. I think it sounded like a fun way to get in shape :)
And goodness knows this chick needs to get in shape.
So here's to my New Year's Resolution that's going to start on December 1st...since I really want to start. January 1st is too far away!
You guys should join me, and tell me about your progress!
Here's to dance!!

I like messin' with the law.

So this weekend was just overflowing with excitement! Like for real...
Friday night I got pulled over for the first time.
I got pulled over for something OUTRAGEOUS.

Drunk. Frickin. Driving.

Was I drunk? Not in the littlest bit.
Do I drink? Not in the littlest bit. EVER.
Do I act like I'm drunk? Yes.
Do I wish I was drunk. Yes....*cough* no......
....Do any of these things matter? No, not in the littlest bit.

So my Hannah Katherine and I went on a little trip to Rexburg to get us some McDonald's.
Yes. Some McDonald's. At 10 in the PM
We got some shakes. And a three piece Chicken Selects to share.
We chilled at McDonald's until....midnight-ish.
We went for a drive. On our drive we saw about 3 cops.
I casually ask, "Hannah, have you ever been pulled over before?"
Hannah: "Yes."
Me: "Oh ya I remember that, 'Nathan switch me seats.' Haha, good times."
Me:"I'm pretty sure I'd pee my pants, or cry if I ever get pulled over."
We started back on the highway for home.
Not even 5 seconds later....I see flashing blue and red lights....coming for me.
"Me: Ew. What???"
So the cop pulls me over. He sits in his little cop car for like 5 minutes, finally comes over to us. And then asks: "Where are we coming from tonight?"
Me: "McDonald's"
Cop: "What happened at McDonald's?"
Hannah: "Shakes."
Cop: "Anything else I should know about?"
Me (inside my head): "HE THINKS WE'RE DRUNK?!"
Cop: "You ran over the fog lines a FEW times."
Me: "What's a fog line?"
Cop: "The WHITE lines."
Me: "Oh, I didn't notice. I'm cold, maybe I was adjusting the heat and a swerved and didn't notice."
Cop: "I'm going to need to see your license and registration. And just because I think you're intoxicated, I'm going to need to see you're insurance. I've had too many drunk driving accidents where the insurance didn't cover anything."
Me: "I've never been pulled over before, I don't even know what any of that looks like."

Hannah just knows everything and pulls all the documents out. I'm so glad she was there with me :)
We find the insurance, but it's expired. Oops.
Hannah: "A few times is like 3!! We just got pulled over for drunk driving!!!"

So long story short, he gave me a warning for being intoxicated (which I most definitely wasn't). Then he wrote me a $126.50 ticket for my expired insurance.
I have a court date to waiver the ticket if I can find proof of my valid insurance.
So yes. Hannah and I are just really excited we had that experience together.

Of course, I would be pulled over for drunk driving.

This is the Potential Break-up Song

Okay so the title was a little much...I just really like that song...and....yes.
So...Brayden?.....we broke up.
It was a mutual decision. One that we talked about for 2 hours.
We dated for 1 month. It was real, he was real. It was awesome while it lasted.
I won't go into details, this is my blog, it's my life story, but he was a part of it. I know he's reading this so I'll just keep this simple:
There are no hard feelings. We came to the agreement to be friends, and everything is going to be okay.
It's time to move on.
I feel like something is coming. Something big. I don't know what it is, but I know whatever it is...I'll be able to handle it.

I'm so thankful to Brayden for teaching me so much while we were together. He's brilliant. I'm so excited for him to go on a mission and teach those people set aside for him to teach. And I'm so thankful to still be his friend.
He's genuine and kind.
You can never have too many of those special people in your life. I'm so glad we found each other when we did. He definitely saved me more than once. But now, it's time for me to focus on school. Focus on me. Focus on the life I want to have.
This transition will be good for me. I've always had someone there for me...but it's time for me to go off on my own. I need to be me.
I kinda feel like this right now....it's an awesome feeling:

Rumor has it she ain't got your love anymore...

I know I already blogged today, but I had a special request from a special friend :)
Hannah Banana Katherine Bizzle Chelson.
I pretty much love this girl, she and I are like peas and carrots. She's living in Salt Lake City, Utah right now, but don't worry, she's coming home for Thanksgiving; Another thing I'm very grateful for. I miss that chica!!! So I'm blogging about my Hannah because she's worth blogging about and...
She showed me an awesome song entitled:
"Rumor has it/Someone like you"-- sang by Glee!!.....Which may or may not be one of my favorite shows.
Why do I like Glee? Well mostly/mainly because of him:

So yes, I love Hannah Katherine, for showing me that song before I got to watch it on the show. Because it's basically the most awesome-est girl power song EVER. And I love singing it at the top of my lungs. And I basically love Hannah with my whole lung...??? So therefore it's an awesome thing.

Weekends are good.

Hey bloggers!
Guess what, I just spent WAY too much time redesigning my blog. I got on here to write a blog, but instead I made my blog all cute...look at it, it's pretty darn adorable. :)

So I had a pretty great weekend. I'm sad it's almost over, but it will be Thanksgiving soon! Which means school will be out soon!! Which means I won't have homework for a second.
Well I do have a paper to write over the break, but we aren't thinking about that right now!

So on Friday night, I went and saw my Connor play Mr. Fezziwig in the school play "Scrooge." Um, my littlest brother is SO cute.
Look at him:
He had a cute little singing part, and I love him :)

On Saturday, I got to sit around a be all lazy and stuff! It was fabulous! My Aunt Katie and I went to watch Breaking Dawn, *GASP* the last book in the Twilight series! Oh my yes. Favorite book, favorite movie so far, and favorite Jacob...I mean Edward...uh Jacob...I still don't know which team I'm on. It's rather discouraging.
But yes, go read the book now!

On Saturday night Brayden, Karly, and I went to Idaho Falls for The Standards Concert!! I'm pretty sure I've never told you about them. They are a beautiful people. :)

Nutshell:
  • The Standards came to my Elementary School...when I was in 4th grade.(That seems like FOREVER ago).
  • I skipped recess with a couple friends and went to meet them. They signed a sheet of our notebook paper.
  • I fell in love.
  • I followed them ever since. I've gone to every concert they've done in Eastern Idaho (Which has only been like...10 times ;)
  • I fall more in love with them everytime I hear them sing
  • I'm crazy.
The Standards in the flesh, taken at a concert last September:

Oh hey, The Standards in 2008:

Jordan Williams (the oldest brother, and probably one of my favorites) and myself!...oh and Nicholas Williams in the background ;)
Okay that's probably enough pictures :) So basically The Standards are beautiful and talented and I had a fun time at the concert.

Today, Sunday, I got to go to my home ward. It was just a good day. I had an awesome lesson in Young Women's (yes, I'm supposed to go to Relief Society, but I miss my girls!) So yes, church is good, family is good, and my boyfriend is AWESOME for being brave and taking me to a concert. He got to listen to me sing, and he got to see me dance in my seat. The kid might be scarred for life, haha!
I love weekends like these, and I can't wait for this Thanksgiving holiday. I'm so thankful for family, friends and food.
How was your weekend?

What's up? What's happenin'?...What's goin' on??

Well hey all!!

So I haven't blogged in a while, so since I need a break from studying....I thought I would tell my blog followers what's new in my life...:)

So once upon a time my friend Lynzi Rubert introduced me to Brayden Scholes.
He works at a donut shop (Paradise Donuts), in Rexburg, Idaho. So we decided to go get a donut after class one day and Lynzi introduced us.
I didn't really think anything of it.

She asked me the next day what I'd say to going on a date with him. I said, "Well he's nice. And he has a great personality...and he has a great smile...and he's kinda cute."
Then Lynzi said, "Great, because I want to set you two up sometime."
"Well great, sounds fun", I said.
Then, a few days later, as Lynzi and I sat in my car, I get a phone call from an unknown number.
(I wasn't supposed to know, but Lynzi gave me a heads up that he would be calling ;) so I answer calm, cooley, and quite collectively.
He asked me on a date that Friday night. I was kinda really excited :)
So on October 21, 2011, Brayden picked me up at my house in St. Anthony. He took me to Dr. Slaughters with a couple of his friends and their dates. Yes, he took me to Dr. Slaughters...it's said to be one of the scarier attractions in Idaho. But that was okay, because he let me hold onto him almost the entire time.
After Dr. Slaughters we went back to Paradise Donuts (his donut shop) and frosted our own donuts, then walked to Sammy's in Rexburg and ate Donut Shakes....YUM! Greatest idea, ever! We sat and talked for a while with the group, and then decided to call it a night.
As he was driving me home I was like, "Okay, this guy is pretty neat. He's a perfect gentleman, he saved me from the scary guys at Dr. Slaughters, and he makes yummy donuts...there might be somethin' here." He dropped me off and told me he wanted to see me again. Of course, I wanted to see him too.

Wow, this is turning into a long story :P So, Brayden came to institute with Lynzi and her boyfriend McKay, that next Tuesday. I was happy to see him again.
I saw him again that Thursday, with Lynzi. We went to go get a donut and hot chocolate at Paradise Donuts because it snowed that day. Brayden asked me to dinner and a movie for that Saturday. He said he'd call me. And he did, that night, while I was working. But don't worry, I'm a good multi-tasker and I answered the phone while I was making a pizza.

So Saturday, October 29, 2011 came around and I was SO excited. He came to get me at 6:30. We went to dinner first, at Joe's Filling Station. It was DELICIOUS! We played a game of twenty questions...which, by the end of the night, really ended up being like, 5,127 questions...but who's counting?? After the yummy dinner, he took me to the nature park in Rexburg, with all the ducks and such, and guess what we did?? We took a little walk and looked at the stars. Aww! Although, the cold weather did get in the way, so...we went to the movies!! Aww! We saw "In Time"....don't watch it...it was pretty bad :D Haha, but I still had a good time. I don't remember a lot of the movie, but I do remember Brayden's hand on mine...

After the movie we decided to go to the park. We talked...and yes We
kissed. And yes, he said, "Looks like I have a girlfriend."
....................................And I said, "Ya, it looks like you do."
Brayden is one special guy, and I'm so thankful to have him in my life. It's been fun. It's all new. And it's kind of exciting and scary all at the same time. But, I like it.

So today wasn't the greatest day in the whole wide world, but do ya know what? I got to see Brayden for the first time all week (he's been sick), and Brayden decided to surprise me and decorate my car while I was at work.

He is SO thoughtful, and sweet, and original...it's refreshing...one of the reasons I kinda like the kid.

Oh you want pictures....duh!
The car....

The Rose....a pink one, which might I add....is my favorite flower :) So that's what 's new in my life...what's new in yours?
